Smagu, kad Asociacija skatina ne tik galvoti apie miestą, bet ir realiai veikti. Asociacijos idėja – ne perimti kitų projektus ir juos padaryti, o padėti žmonėms patiems siekti užsibrėžtų planų miesto labui, pasiteisina. Jau formuojasi konkrečios darbo grupės, vienijančios panašioje srityje dirbančius ar ja besidominčius profesionalus. Tai tikrai maloni patirtis, nes grupelėse žmonės noriai dalijasi patirtimi, imasi darbų, ieško sprendimų. Tai kažkiek ir unikalu, nes labai dažnai tokiose grupėse daug kritikuojama, daug kalbama ir mažai daroma. Na, o čia – viskas atvirkščiai.
Pavyzdžiui, šiandien suformuota Projektų valdymo grupė, atsakinga už galimų finansavimo šaltinių paiešką. Juk Asociacijos nariai turi daugybę idėjų, tačiau kai kurioms jų reikalingos lėšos, nes visko savo rankomis padaryti nepavyksta. Pasirodo, finansavimo galimybių taip pat yra, tik čia, kaip ir visur, reikalingi profesionalai, žinantys kur ir ko ieškoti. Grupei vadovauja projektus nuo 2005-ųjų metų sėkmingai rengianti Vaida Žvikienė, išrinkta susirinkusios komandos. Prie komandos prisidėjęs Ruslanas iš karto atvirai pasakė: „Aš noriu, kad po metų galėčiau pasakyti, jog aš Klaipėdai padariau tokius ir tokius konkrečius darbus. Tik taip man bus įdomu čia dirbti.“ O komandos narė Ingrida atėjo padėti visuose projektų rengimo etapuose ir visais aspektais, nes padėdama ji siekia suvokti, kas tai yra ir kaip tai veikia. Rita šiuo metu atostogauja, bet ji jau rengia vieną projektą, tad po atostogų prisijungs prie šios grupės.
Darbo grupė iki rugsėjo 1-osios patalpins informaciją apie finansavimą bei sritis, kurioms šiuo metu galima gauti lėšų. Galite prisijungti prie šios grupės, jei turite patirties, rengiant projektus, o taip pat galite siūlyti ir savo darbo grupes.
Norėčiau sulaukti pačios darbo grupės komentarų, bet mano įspūdžiai, matant, kaip noriai dirba šie žmonės, yra patys geriausi. Tada aš tikiu, kad ši Asociacija, vienijanti tokius žmones, yra didžiulė jėga. Kad mes būsime išgirsti. Kad mes savo rankomis gražiname savo miestą. Man tai svarbu, nes baisiausia girdėti, o dar baisiau patikėti, „kad nieko negalime padaryti“. Kaip sakoma kažkurioje reklamoje, „jei galiu aš, gali ir TU!” Aš jau matau, kad galiu. O TU?
