Šiandien nustebinau savo kolektyvą puikiu darbu, įsigytu „Mano miestas Klaipėda“ organizuoto aukciono metu. Man asmeniškai nuotrauka labai graži, tačiau tai – skonio dalykas. Tačiau esminis dalykas, ta šiluma, kuri atsispindi konkurso dalyvių veiduose, kurią jie sudeda į savo darbus. Viktoras Štombergas, kaip ir daugelis kitų jaunų ar kaip tik jau seniai dirbančių Klaipėdos fotomenininkų, skyrė savo laiką ir pastangas ir užfiksavo tokį įvairų Klaipėdos veidą.
Žiūrėdama į nuotraukas, kuriose ir dvi panelės, kalbinančios jūreivius, ir vaikučiai su popieriniais laivais, ir senas miegantis jūrininkas bei daugybė laivų atvaizdų, didžiavausi, kad gyvenu šiame mieste. Daviau sau pažadą, kad mokysiuosi daugiau dairytis ir grožėtis mane supančia aplinka. Juk kartais važiuodami per miestą žiūrime tik į įprastą kelią ir net jo kartais nematome. Gerai, kad bent nuotraukose kasdieniai vaizdai atgyja visai kitaip.
Tad dar kartą nuoširdžiai dėkoju tiek idėjos autoriams, tiek ir visiems, patikėjusiems, kad tai bus smagu ir dalyvavusiems, tiek ir padėjusiems atrinkti darbus. Manau, kad net ir maži renginiai yra vertingi, nes tai geros emocijos ir santykių palaikymas, kas ir yra svarbiausia kiekvieno žmogaus gyvenime.
Telieka pasidžiaugti, kad mes, klaipėdiečiai, vis dėlto esame labai šilti ir atviri, kad dar atpažįstame vieni kitus, kad nuoširdžiai sveikinamės pasimatę. Branginkime tai, nes daugumos didmiesčių gyventojai tuo jau seniai negali pasigirti.
Tad būkime aktyvūs, bendraukime, dalyvaukime, šturmuokime koncertų sales ir visus renginius. Dažnai tai visiškai nieko nekainuoja… Ir mūsų mieste mums bus gera gyventi. Tai – mūsų rankose…
